Hello everyone. Lately, I've noticed some confusion as to what bases are available for request and which ones are off limits. It has also been brought to my attention that medli96 has removed her collection of pony bases. So, to clear up the confusion, I've decided to create a list of bases I will and will not use. There are the "Will Use" and "Will Not Use" lists. On each list, I will mention each base by name, write out what species and ages are possible with the base, add a link to the original base if applicable, and include a working image of that base. Before I get to the actual lists, here are a few guidelines.

If you do not see a base on either list, it means I have not yet tried my hand at it and I am willing to give it a shot.

"Willing to give it a shot" does not mean I will use it for certain.

If a base is in the "Will Not Use" list, then the only way I will use it is if you win some sort of contest or competition I hold (such as kiribans).

I will not frankendoll (combine any bases to make a new one). This includes putting two ponies into one icon.

There are a couple of icons on this list that have two ponies already in it. These icons have a male and a female pony. I will not change the bases so that they are two females or two males.

Once an icon is added to either list, I will not move it to the opposing list. That means that, if you see a base you want that is in the "Will Use" list, but you can't request another icon until next month, don't worry! I will never move that base to the "Will Not Use" list.

You are free to ask why I will not use a base, but I am not going to write them out on this journal. Be aware that any bases I refuse to use are not a personal attack on the creators. All of the base creators I have talked to are splendid people, I assure you. The reasons for not using them are personal, and mostly have to do with time constraints or skill.

All icons I have posted as an example of the base are icons of my own personal OCs. They are not free to use. They will merely serve as examples.

All icons can be male or female unless otherwise stated.

This list is subject to change, and frequently! I will not repost it when I update like I do with my FAQ Journal, so check back often to find out if I've updated.
